Yuchai regains the title of "National 4A Grade Standard Good Practice"

From December 17 to December 18, the expert group of the National Special Office carried out a review and confirmation of the state “AAAA Standard Good Practices” for Yuchai Machinery Co., Ltd., and Yuchai passed the review of the high score of 488 points, and obtained the national “AAAA” again. "Classified Good Practice Enterprise" title.

In 2005, Yuchai was one of the 19 pilot enterprises of the “Standardized Good Practices” in the country and strictly followed the requirements of GB/T 15496, GB/T 15497, GB/T15498 and other “Enterprise Standardization System Series Standards”. The standard system has been integrated and reengineered, and it has been awarded the title of “AAAA Standard Good Practice Enterprise”, which is the highest evaluation level of the country's standard and good behavior.

At the last meeting of this year's review and confirmation work, Luo Song, head of the expert group of the State Special Projects Office, fully affirmed the significant progress Yuchai has made in the standardization work over the past three years. The members of the expert group believed that Yuchai’s title of “AAAA Standardized Good Practice Enterprise” and the commitment of the secretariats of the three standardization working groups are the performance of Yuchai’s standardization work in the forefront of the industry. He hopes that Yuchai can continue its efforts and innovate continuously.

Shen Jie, chief engineer of the joint stock company, stated that Yuchai will continue its efforts to find gaps, continuously improve and innovate, and continuously improve the standardization level of the company.

Across the pond, you will find the Deutsches Institute fur Normung (DIN) flange specification, consisting of a variety of European styles which have been unified into one code for the purpose of commonality. Designation as a DIN Flange by the German Institute of Standardization assures the user of design quality the way an ASME flange would here in America. Although much less common than ANSI/ASME steel flanges in the United States, many of our international customers request flanges to these specifications for a variety of applications such as imported steel vessels, cargo ships, and other infrastructure which may consist of metric pipes/valves and European designed equipment.

The subset flanges under the DIN standard consist of the same style of flanges in the United States, including the most commonly used slip on flanges, weld neck, flanges, and blind flanges. Adapter flanges can be custom made to end user requirements for the mating of American flanges to international ones, however we find it is a much more common and easy solution to provide DIN flanges to mate to existing equipment.
