On the evening of March 21, Ankai Bus announced that it had recently signed a "strategic cooperation agreement" with Wattmar. According to the agreement, in 2017, Watermaa will have to strive for 1,000 pure electric buses for Ankai Purchasing. Ankai will purchase 2000 batteries from the company.
After the release of the 2017 Announcement and Recommended Catalogue, Watermar first purchased 200 buses from Ankai. In order to meet the consistency of product announcements, the key components of the new energy vehicles purchased by Waterma from Ankair should be purchased from Wattmar, and the technical agreement shall prevail. Party B shall cooperate with the core components such as Waterma Battery to make an announcement.
Every time Waterma purchases a pure electric vehicle from Ankai, Ankai needs to purchase 2 sets of batteries from Wattmar (one of them is applied to the pure electric vehicle purchased by Waterma to Ankai), according to 1:2 ratio. And so on. In 2017, Wattmar had to compete with Ankai for 1,000 pure electric buses. Ankai purchased 2,000 batteries from the company.
