In the gear cover that we dismantled, there are four gear cover drain holes that are blocked, causing the traction gear to leak along the journal.
In response to the above problems, we have taken the following measures: (1) When adding traction gear grease, it must be extruded. (2) In order to avoid the oil leakage caused by the plastic bag blocking the retaining ring drain hole after the locomotive leaves the factory, the size of the retaining ring drain hole is increased, and the drain hole is changed from <20mm to <24mm.
From the above requirements, it is known that dents or knife marks of 015 mm depth are allowed on the sealing neck. The facts show that 15 of the 19 gear covers that were dismantled were markedly marked on the seal neck. According to the analysis, the main reason for the gear cover oil is that the surface of the sealing neck is rough, and the dent or the knife mark forms the oil path. At the same time, the locomotive has the two-way forward and backward, and the spiral blade marks start in one direction. The sealing effect is exacerbated in the other direction.
The size of the felt strip does not match and the assembly is poor. During the inspection, the size of the felt strip has a great influence on the sealing effect. The height of the felt strip is too large, which increases the difficulty of assembling the gear cover. At the same time, it is easy to compact the felt strip and lose its elasticity, thus affecting the sealing effect: the felt strip height is too small, the sealing effect is not good, and the gear cover is more likely to be caused. Oyster sauce.
According to the inspection process requirements, the diameter of the wheel seal neck can be reduced by up to 4mm, that is, the diameter of the seal neck of each hub can be up to 4mm. Therefore, when installing the gear cover felt, it should be matched and selected according to the size of the seal neck. The size of the felt strips provides a certain amount of interference between the felt strip and the sealing neck. The maintenance process only has technical requirements for the thickness of the felt strip of 8 mm and the height of 1518 mm, and the interference of the felt strip is not specified.
Through repeated argumentation, careful calculation, and practice test, the interference between the felt strip and the sealing neck is ideally between 015115mm, which requires strict fitting of the appropriate felt strip according to the actual size of the sealing neck during assembly. In addition, the shear quality of the felt strip also has a great influence on the sealing effect. Therefore, the size of the felt strip is required to be accurate, the ridge line should be horizontal and vertical, and the joint surface with the seal neck should be smooth and smooth. The felt strip cannot be artificially stretched during assembly to prevent deformation. At the same time, pay attention to the need to insert the felt strip once when using the steel wire. Do not turn it after the penetration, so as to avoid oil leakage.
The assembly of the gear cover and the fastening gear cover assembly process document stipulate that when the gear cover is coupled with the motor, the position of the gear cover can be adjusted by the gasket. The outer side of the gear cover large gear sealing ring and the long wheel hub are not less than 3 mm horizontally. The gap between the end face of the gear and the inner side of the gear cover is 1116mm, and the gap between the outer side of the gear cover pinion ring and the motor is 14mm.
