Puxi, Xinjiang Launches Waste Tire Treatment Project
Recently, Xinjiang Puqi Investment (Group) Co., Ltd. plans to invest 200 million yuan to build new tyre tire renewal , rubber powder and reclaimed rubber production projects in the Wujiaqu Industrial Park in Urumqi, Xinjiang.
The project is divided into three phases. In the first phase, 12 nearly 20,000 square meters of standard factory buildings will be built for waste tyre processing projects, mainly 20,000 tire retreading, 30,000 tons of fully-vulcanized rubber powder and 20,000 tons of atmospheric continuous desulfurization. Environmentally-friendly reclaimed rubber and 2,500 tons of modified asphalt rubber powder project are expected to be put into operation by the end of 2012. After all projects reach production, it will become the largest production base for vulcanized rubber powder and the best reclaimed rubber in China.
