· Porsche (China) Automobile Sales Co., Ltd. recalled some imported Boxster and Carrera series cars
Recently, Porsche (China) Automobile Sales Co., Ltd. filed a recall plan with the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine, and will recall some imported cars from March 20, 2017. According to the company's statistics, there are a total of 1080 vehicles in mainland China. details as follows:
(1) Part of the imported 2017 718 Boxster series cars produced during the period from March 02, 2016 to June 04, 2016, totaling 389 vehicles;
(II) Part of the imported 2017 911 Carrera series cars produced from January 08, 2016 to June 09, 2016, totaling 691 vehicles.
Some of the vehicles within this recall are not guaranteed due to the durability of the engine fuel collection pipe fastening bolts. On track driving or other similar driving conditions, the fastening bolts may break, causing fuel leaks in the fuel collection pipe. If the fire source may cause the vehicle to catch fire, there is a safety hazard.
From the date of the official implementation of the recall, Porsche (China) Automobile Sales Co., Ltd. will entrust Porsche Authorized Service Centers throughout the country to replace the fastening bolts on the fuel collection pipes for vehicles within the recall range to eliminate potential safety hazards. Stock vehicles will be sold after the defect has been eliminated.
Relevant users should drive with caution and do not participate in any track activities or perform similarly intense driving behaviors before repairing defective vehicles. If the user smells fuel odor during use, please stop using it immediately and get in touch with the Porsche Authorized Service Center. The user should contact the dealer for repair as soon as possible after the recall operation begins.
