Peugeot Citroen Sales Increased by 30% in October in China

According to data released recently by PSA Peugeot Citroen, its joint venture company Shenlong Motors in China sold 60,024 vehicles in October this year, which is a year-on-year increase of 27.07% compared to 46,652 vehicles in October last year.

Dongfeng Citroen new Elysee, Dongfeng Citroen Sega and Dongfeng Peugeot 308 and other rapid growth, Dongfeng Peugeot brand new 408 and Dongfeng Citroen C4L also achieved a higher level. Dongfeng Citroen C5 and Dongfeng Peugeot 508 also contributed sales of 5,000 vehicles. From January to October, the total sales volume of Shenlong was 578,512 units in the same period of last year, 447,211 units, a year-on-year increase of 29.36%.

Among the two brands, Dongfeng Citroen sold 26,308 units in October, and sold 24,017 units in October last year, an increase of 9.54% year-on-year; cumulative sales from January to October were 263,891 units, compared with 222,712 units in the same period of last year, a year-on-year increase of 18.49. %

Dongfeng Peugeot sold 33,716 units in October. It sold 23,220 units in October last year, an increase of 45.20% year-on-year; cumulative sales from January to October were 314,621 units, compared with 224,489 units in the same period last year, an increase of 40.15% year-on-year.
