On June 6, the reporter learned from the 119 Dispatching and Commanding Center of the Beijing Fire Brigade that this afternoon there was an explosion at a thermal power plant on the east side of Sun Palace Park in Chaoyang District, Beijing.
Some reports quoted the person in charge of the propaganda department of the Beijing Emergency Center as saying that the explosion caused casualties, and the specific circumstances are not yet clear. China News Network reporter is on the scene to verify.
According to briefings, after the command center received an alarm around 14:05, a total of seven fire engines were dispatched to the scene. There is no open fire at the site and the site has been disposed of. The cause of the explosion is not yet clear.
