On June 5, the State Administration of Markets and Industry announced that Volvo Car Sales (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. will recall some imports from January 15, 2015 to May 29, 2016, starting from May 30, 2018. The Volvo XC90 has a total of 6,415 vehicles.

Due to the manufacturer's manufacturing problems, the engine coolant discharge hose connector is not strong enough, which may cause the coolant to leak. It does not meet the requirements of the motor safety technical requirements, and there are potential safety hazards. Volvo Car Sales (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. will replace the qualified discharge hoses for vehicles within the recall range to eliminate defects. If the relevant user finds that the vehicle meter indicates that the coolant level is low or the engine temperature is high, immediately contact an authorized dealer for disposal. The user should contact the dealer for repair as soon as possible after the recall operation begins.
