The Northwest Sichuan Gas Mine Methanol Plant stopped production for two months at the beginning of last year, the methanol expansion device was not opened, and the annual overhaul was postponed. The annual production capacity of 100,000 tons of the plant has resumed since February 26, 2007. On December 21, 2007, the accumulated methanol production amounted to more than 100,000 tons per year. The annual production plan was completed and the device was operated safely for 298 days.
In 2007, the methanol plant established a scientific development concept, highlighted safe production and clean production, and achieved the goal of “safe, stable, long, full, and excellent†operation of all production facilities and completed the production of 100,000 tons of methanol, fully mobilized the whole plant.
