China's tire production will reach 160 million in 2005


According to data from the China Rubber Industry Association, China exported 45 million tires in 2003, up from 35 million in 2002. According to relevant sources, China’s auto production in 2005 is expected to reach 5 million, and tire production will reach 160 million. In 2003, it was 140 million. In 2002, China replaced the United States as the world's largest rubber consumer, and tire production accounted for 70% of China's total rubber consumption.
