This is an epoch-making landmark in the development of Chinese companies. It is reported that China FAW Group Corporation, SAIC Motor Corporation (Group) Corporation, Dongfeng Motor Corporation, and China Top 500 Enterprises ranked 1,119,884 million yuan, 9,729,364,000 yuan, and 900,200 million yuan in operating revenue respectively. According to the rules of sales revenue of the world’s top 500 companies, the 18 companies all met the top 500 standards. In the ranking of top 500 Chinese enterprises, Beijing Automotive Industry Holding Co., Ltd. and Guangzhou Automobile Industry Group Co., Ltd., which are in the second camp of the auto industry, ranked 48 and 50 respectively with an operating income of 31,585.83 million yuan and 31,045,550,000 yuan. A person from the Ministry of Commerce pointed out: For three consecutive years, sales of Chinese automobiles have increased by more than 50%, which is a relatively fast-growing industry. Although this year's growth rate has fallen from last year, it is still growing. From January to June this year, according to the statistics of circulation, sales increased by 45%, which is still relatively high. With more cars entering the home, as well as the development of China's industry and transportation industry, the Chinese automobile industry can still maintain a higher growth rate than other industrial industries in the next few years. According to predictions from related research departments, before 2008, the double-digit growth rate of China's auto industry demand is no problem. (Yang Xinqiang)
