In May 2019, a report from Hubei TV station said: Linglong tires in the Jingmen factory in Hubei have entered the production equipment installation stage.
Hubei Satellite TV interviewed Li Zhigang, the head of the Jingmen Linglong Tire Project at the factory construction site. Li Zhigang said that the factory construction was very smooth and has already entered the stage of production line equipment installation. It is expected that the first batch of tires in July will be produced.
Hubei Linglong Tire Project is a wholly-owned subsidiary invested by Shandong Linglong Tire Co., Ltd. in Jingmen. The project is the fourth production base of Linglong Tire in China. The project introduces the world's advanced information and communication technology, digital control technology and intelligent equipment technology, and strives to build a tire factory with intelligent, full process automation and all-round green. The project will build an annual output of 14.46 million sets of high-performance radial tires, including: 12 million sets of semi-steel radial tires, 2.4 million sets of all-steel radial tires, and 60,000 sets of engineering tires.

On July 6, 2018, the project of Hubei Linglong Tire Co., Ltd. was officially launched.
The Hubei Linglong Tire Project has a total investment of 5.4 billion yuan. Upon completion, it will become the largest tire company in the central region. It is estimated that the annual sales income will be more than 5 billion yuan and the profit and tax will be 400 million yuan.
