U.S. Media: Counterfeit Scandal “Take Down” Data from President Kobelco Revives the Shocking Industry Supply Chain

U.S. media said that Kawasaki, president of the Kobe Steel Institute, also said on the 6th that he will resign and that the decision will take effect on April 1. According to the report of the Wall Street Journal website on March 6th, Kawasaki Bo also announced that its resignation plan indicated that in order to prove that Kobe Steel has changed and accelerated the pace of reforms, the company needs new management. Kobe Steel is the third largest steel manufacturer in Japan.

According to the report, Kobe Steel provides products to automakers, aircraft manufacturers and nuclear power plants. The company admitted last year that its product quality specifications for hundreds of customers had been tampered with. This disclosure has shocked the industry's supply chain and caused a series of other Japanese manufacturers to acknowledge similar problems.
