Delphi Partners with Luxembourg University to Study Automotive Electronic Control Systems

In December 2012, Delphi Automotive Components announced that it has signed a four-year cooperation agreement with the University of Luxembourg's Intertrust Center for Security and Trust (SnT). Both parties will conduct research in automotive electronic control systems . Cooperation.

Delphi and SnT will join forces for the first time to jointly research electronic control systems for automotive equipment. The initial phase of the cooperation will include two research projects. One is the testing of embedded software (based on the model's testing of electronic control module software). The two projects will focus on the security of embedded software.

Delphi said that this cooperation agreement made Delphi the 15th member of the SnT Partner Program. The main purpose of the cooperation project is to study the highly effective automatic verification and validation technology for electronic control unit (ECU) software systems.

Steve Kiefer, president of Delphi's Power Transmission Business Unit, said: "We are very pleased to cooperate with the University of Luxembourg. Through a series of research projects, we will be able to further improve the reliability of the car in the future.
