China Dongfeng Heavy Trucks fills market gap in Malaysia

China Dongfeng Motor Co., Ltd. held a ceremony in Selangor, Malaysia on the 31st to introduce the Dongfeng Tianlong 420 heavy-duty tractor to the Malaysian market.
Minister of Transport of Malaysia Ong Shijie, Economic and Commercial Counselor Gao Wenkuan of the Chinese Embassy in Malaysia, and Deputy General Manager Hu Jianguo of Dongfeng Commercial Vehicle Co., Ltd. attended the promotion ceremony held by Hongxing Industrial Vehicle Co., Ltd., a Malaysian partner of Dongfeng.
Weng Shijie said that the current Malaysian transportation market is full of European and Japanese brand models, and the entry of Dongfeng Motor has demonstrated its brand strength. He is pleased that Dongfeng Motor Corporation has used Malaysia as its commercial vehicle production and sales center in Southeast Asia.
Gao Wenkuan said that China Dongfeng Motor Company is a company with a long history and international reputation that can produce heavy-duty vehicles. Hongxing Motors is a Malaysian company with decades of experience in sales of heavy-duty trucks. The two companies have launched new car sales cooperation. Meaningful and promising, it will fill the gap in the Malaysian market.
Dongfeng Motor Company also officially launched the Bison 260 truck assembly and production in Malaysia.
Hongxing Company stated that the Dongfeng heavy trucks are fuel-efficient, durable and affordable, and the driver's cockpit is also comfortable. The initial response in the Malaysian market is not bad. The company is also preparing to sell these two Dongfeng windmills to Thailand and Indonesia in the future.
